Confessions of the Sheep/Beef Cattle/Pig Addicts

Any good tups were sought after, anything not so good of which there were a fair view weren’t. Prices dropped off towards the end, there were some cheap Beltexes that would have done a job
I’m not sure wether these tups are getting worse in some of these sales or we are all being more picky?
There’s certainly a big gap between what’s decent and what’s average
Is there a Beltex and a Beltex x Texel there

Dearest Dark Lord of non cake stuffed ram selling .
Bar a couple of beltex things for the young un , your tups here still rule the roost!
I’d be delighted to offer you hospitality if you are passing , but I won’t be in need of any tups this year , as yours don’t die very well. But they are dreadful for the maintenance of my foot shears and jakotis, as they don’t need them !💪😂😂
I’m sure the tourists will appreciate their Guided tour of the delights of the Dark Lord Towers when the time comes!!

I look forward to catching up with you and yours on one of my grand ram delivering tours over the coming weeks. i promise that I am a reformed character so will visit and leave during daylight hours

What’s left of the old sheep pens an dipper from back when the estate had suffolks and used to sell rams to Australia

Pure Texel to go over mules for gimmer lambs and a beltex.
Aye he’s a big lengthy tup. We’ve almost stopped buying pure Texels to go onto mules for whatever reason I’m not sure. We sell nearly everything off our mule ewes and like to see a bit of shape and skin if possible. I think a lot of pure Texels have a bit Beltex in amongst them somewhere
If I dare say that

There’s more crossbreds than pures at that sale
