How long will the ones on creep take?So on creep (not those ones) will have to have there clik on pretty quick or won’t be able to go when fit.
Hopefully be drawing them at 10 weeks, they where the best twins out of old Suffolk cross ewes. Want the ewes away as well at the same time. That’s the plan anyway. How long will the ones on creep take?
My Suffolk x ewes have been a pain this time. They are only nice types I’ve pulled out of store lambs we’ve bought but this winter and spring mustn’t have suited them some have got most things wrongThe 3 counties show lamb competition is first week in June. Would be nice as a bit if fun to put some into that.
Is it one of those things your face has to fit?The 3 counties show lamb competition is first week in June. Would be nice as a bit if fun to put some into that.
It’s only at the market, just commercial lambs really, maybe a few beltex once, always annoys me these competitions at the market because people you never see turn up to them, we are there every bloody week.Is it one of those things your face has to fit?
They suit this farm well, hungry old buggers though but can produce them ourselves for not to much money. My Suffolk x ewes have been a pain this time. Yes they are too soft for up here they have never not had grub infront of them since January but if the weather doesn’t suit that’s itThey suit this farm well, hungry old buggers though but can produce them ourselves for not too much money.
One swallow doesn’t make a summer mindNot as good as yours but can you spot the swallow?
No, but it looks like your ewes and lambs have got into a field of mowing grass, you'd better get down there sharpishNot as good as yours but can you spot the swallow?
Yes was supposed to be mowing that field but ewes and lambs needed it, grazed the other fields down too quickly. Have put some N on behind the ewes and lambs hopefully get a cut later in the season. No, but it looks like your ewes and lambs have got into a field of mowing grass, you'd better get down there sharpish
And there was me expecting a picture of a can of thatchers…View attachment 1178960Not a bad start
