I have a Conor 9720 with the old style controller. Does anyone have any idea how to program this? When I press the Auto button all it does is beep two times. Manually it works fine. The battery was shot inside it, which I have replaced. I can't find any information about these on the internet.

Turn it off and hold the three green buttons down at the same time then switch it on again I think

Hi Weasel. I have done that, and it does reset, but that leaves me with the situation I am in at the moment with 2x beeps when Auto is pressed.

Iv one the same, press the rubber switch down the one that works the lift arm, mine is on the 3 point linkage and doesn't have a lift arm but has a switch for it so that how mines works, then it should start.

Thanks for the info. At what point do you press the lift arm down switch? Would it be at the same time as pressing Auto?

I have a remote controler, so put the wee switch to auto, then l press the start button on the remote if it beeps l move that arm switch down then press start and it works. I got the auto box refurbished buy dk electrics and it worked perfectly since that, but every day you have to do that thing with the lift arm switch, as l said it doesn't have an arm but has a switch to work it.

Also a black kinda line appears aswell. I hope this gets it going, l had to press the 3 buttons at once a few years ago as you said battery flat, but best 200 odd pounds getn it sorted at dk. Don't you have a remote, a mchale remote will work it.

Thanks for the info. I have a remote, but up to now pressing any buttons doesn't do anything. I will give it a go.

OK, let me know if it works or phone dk electrics up, they are very helpful, those guys at Connor are aswell but kinda hard to follow with that Irish accent or even the guys who make the box it's self. There down south.

Thanks for your answers guys, it worked!

What I did for future knowing:
Factory reset: Power off (via EM Stop), press and hold Bale Count, Set/Reset and Hold To Set. Power on (via EM Stop). This will reset the memory.

To program (after replacing the internal bettery or factory reset)
Power off, press and hold Hold To Set, power on. This will get you into Programming.
1st chevron is unknown, set at 4.2 (or 4.3).
2nd chevron is Cut & Start Release, time in seconds, 4.2 (or 4.3).
3rd chevron is with t, r or c. I had it set to r for Remote control.
4th chevron is On/Off Film Break Sensor Detect. I.e. if the film stops turning it will say "STOP". Turning this off doesn't detect the film breaking.
Power off when set as required, power back in.

To operate Auto Mode:
Power on in Manual Mode
Turn on the Hydraulics
Press and hold the first big switch (under Set/Reset) downwards (I didnt try pressing it after switching to Auto)
Turn to Auto Mode
Release both switches
Now you can press "Auto" on the control box, or use the remove. The remote may require a button press for several seconds.

Glad you got it working. The first chevron in the programming mode is the tip up duration (time in seconds) in case it's useful for future reference.

Hi I just wanted too say a big thank you for taking the time too write up the instructions how too set up the wrapper box....I bought 1 today and without finding your article I'd have been stuffed ... only thing is I have wrapper box set as I want it.... I have number of rotations set and its working well ...BUT if I disconnect the power supply or press the stop button ....once I reconnect power or release stop button and then press Auto start on my remote the box beeps twice and won't start unless I do the thing where I hold down the lever under set/reset with the switch set in Manual and flick it onto auto....once that's done its fine.... was that how they were all set up or am I missing a small piece of the puzzle??
