Not sure
How do broiler contracts work? Payed per bird or per kg? Who pays for birds/feed etc??
How much per bird/per kg do you get paid?

There are other ways of doing it, some pay rent per sq ft, some contracts the processor provides management and effectively just rents the whole site, others pay a bonus on performance / efficiency.

We operate on a lower-risk lower-reward basis. It allows me to sleep at night, but I'll never be as rich as Chickens & Wheat. :)

All you need to wait for Fogg is when somebody gets the Idea of Fast charge bases for electric vehicles. I Recon Chicken farms close to Villages will be worth a fortune, that's what I am waiting for but my farm is 2 miles from anywhere, perhaps we better build a new town first!
A young lad I met in 1984 when staying with a Land Agent has been running the establishment of all the fast charge points along the trans Canadian Highway.

20p per kW at the most, I'd have thought.

I don't think poultry sites are really where cars are going to be charged. Rural locations aren't ideal, it'll be supermarkets and town centre car parks. The existing network of filling statnios will also likely be converted. For the best part most people will get by with overnight charging at home. We're on our third electric car, I've only added juice away from home a handful of times in 6 yrs.

Im thinking that by the time there are enough customers locally then there will be enough public chargers around.
It could be a way of subsidising a decent on farm charger rather than making profit.
A charger would maybe compliment a farm shop/cafe
