There have been warnings about this, the aerosols in contrails being important, allegedly, in deflecting sunlight and keeping the planet cool. Will the lack of contrails bring a heat wave ?
Remember the affect of 9/11 when planes stopped for just 3 days.
Aerial survey, probably for the Environment Agency or Ordnance Survey.Would be interesting to know what was being done on Sunday , by whom and for what ?

Perhaps just looking to see who has drilled their wheat!
Did you have the gun handy ?First one for must be a week
Totally agree with this, although sometimes they don’t seem to have an effect, other times I’ve seen a lovely clear morning clouded over with clouds definitely seeming to grow out of the contrails, really annoying. If you watch the trails, they just seem to grow and grow and join up into a general haze, with no natural looking clouds about, spoiling a clear day, which isn’t a common thing in these parts.I will bring this up again but I am a real believer that contrails seed clouds, today being a perfect example. Please all look tomorrow and see what I mean
It will be like a Scamble scene from The Battle of Britain as the pilots rush to the lines of planes and fly out one after anotherLying in my bath earlier this evening and saw a plane flying .
Thought to myself “you badtards”
Although I expect a rush back to flying when this is eventually over
Yes, contrails can become clouds though meteorologists refuse to accept this.Totally agree with this, although sometimes they don’t seem to have an effect, other times I’ve seen a lovely clear morning clouded over with clouds definitely seeming to grow out of the contrails, really annoying. We’ve only really had a couple of clear days since the planes stopped, and to me at least the sky has been as clear as I’ve seen it.
