Cooling bins

The biggest pain with my continuous flow drier is cooling and conditioning. At the moment I have two 10 ton radial blown bins. They work extremely well but have flat floors so have to be hand shovelled out if changing crop type and have to be hand levelled at the top as the roof isn’t high enough for the filling spout. The capacity isn’t enough either as the dryer can output 40 tons per day but I wait till cooler night temps to blow the bins so am limited to 20 tons per day. Also can’t start blowing a bin till it’s full or the air escapes through the top of the internal column or blows the lid off it. I spend half my time up and down ladders. Turn your back and it backs up and that’s an auger belt gone.
I need two 30 tons self emptying ventilated cooling bins.
Where is the best place to start looking. Ideally should self empty into an artic through a massive auger and also dry beans with ambient air.
how deep can you fill dry grain over a ventilated floor before you run into problems.

This is it at the moment. Filling perforated simplex bins. A right old pal lager.

Depth you can fill to and ventilate or dry on floor depends on the fan output and type, output in inches wg (water gauge) this varies a lot, need to check type and spec

Not at moment, but possibly some soon,
Scrapped 8 couple of months back!!
We nearly had some more perforated simplex bins last year but somebody had flattened them with a mini digger before we got there. But they were set in concrete so not so handy.
Have thought of casting a sloping concrete floor into ours to make them self emptying. I do keep looking on your website.👍

co down
12 ton mobile will do 3 to 4 loads a day would likely suit well
Opico, master or mecmar all do them. Master and Mecmar fold down more easily if you have to move them.
