George has hit the nail on the head with this one. These people have no interest in tackling climate change. Looking at their actions rather than listening to the “hot air”that’s the clear evidence.
The big fossil fuel corporates spend billions on 'green washing' and producing spurious scientific papers blaming anyone but themselves for climate change. But then we have a whole raft of corporates looking to capitalise on the opportunities this 'green washing' produces. You only have to look at the big food manufactures that have quickly rebranded and reformulated their ultra processed chemical slurry as 'vegan' and it suddenly becomes healthy, planet saving and x3 the price it was before!

Why has no alternate view been put forward? Where's the NFU etc?
I tend to see the NFU (when its not flogging insurance) as little more than a division of DEFRA. There are countless lies and untruths that I see and hear about farming every week that seem to routinely go unchallenged. I am sure the French unions would have a slurry tanker permanently parked outside the BBC studios at times. 😁

Feck. Just read AHDB newsletter. They are there with their 'we must replace livestock with trees message. Bollox.

AHDB will have presence at COP26 with several of our experts there to input and answer queries. We are already delivering proactive work such at the Eat Balanced campaign which showcases the environmental credentials of farming, challenging false information and delivering key independent evidence. If you have any questions yourself on anything to do with COP26, please get in touch

The propaganda machines we are up against are our biggest problem.
I heard on Radio 4 last week that 5 oil companies had spent quarter of a billion euros (sounds more than 250 million) on lobying EU policy makers to influence their future green plans.
I wonder what our representative bodies spend on getting our message out.

It was not an argument just a polite suggestion, never said remove but put in it's own section so those who are not interested in daily farming matters can discus loft insulation to their Hearts content
Who's doing best deals on dishwashers
