Copart

does anyone have a copart account on here? I'm tryin to get intouch with a friend who I know has a account but can't at the minute, if all else fails does anyone on here have a account they can bid/buy something for me?

Thanks in advance

How hard is it to set an account up ?

Like mission impossable when the auction ends in 2 hours!

Ive sorted it now but by all accounts it looks like they want too much for it like usual,

I have to say copart are the biggest bunch of tossers out there, I tried to get some more info on the item this morning and it was like I had asked to see the crown jewels, I ended up putting the phone down :banghead::banghead:

We have an account, if that's any help?
We tried getting info on a few things, E-Mail usually a few days in advance, still get no where.
But if you need to know much about it, its probably to dear to take the chance? Even the descriptions are very poor, listed as petrol and a picture under the bonnet and of tail gate clearly shows a diesel!! Auctioneer fees are not the cheapest .........
If you get a minute have a look at ASM salvage and Easy Salvage (same crowd run both) cheaper fees.

Good luck with the new venture .................

Any chance of seeing the advertised pictures and actual pictures?

No because the clever buggers take the pictures off after the auction has ended, it's not like eBay where it stays in your eBay,

This is the only picture that I screen shot of the floor, and it's a lot worse than it looks in this picture, the floor is scrap as is the rest of it, on a plus point the brakes/running gear are good and I needed 6 wheel rims and brakes for the trailer I'm refurbishing anyway, lucky scrap alloy is(was:nailbiting:)£600 a ton

That's a pity, alloy will be worth quite a bit if the scrap price starts to rise .........
To be honest, I don't think they know what there selling, that's why the description of the repairs needed, are so vague.
They certainly know how to charge auction fees and storage.

Yes we won the trailer in the online auction on Friday, paid on the following Tuesday and got charged £27.50 for late payment.....wtf, to be totally honest after this experience with copart I'd sooner deal with qf any day of the week!!

I really do hope hewitts start back up, they were the boys, a on site car auction every Wednesday, buy a car to sell and make a weeks wages on then stroll around the agri salvage without any red tape...happy days

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
