Thats a coach screw, as @Badshot posted, a coach bolt is the one with a nut. I buy 100's of coash bolts each week and thats what they send me

Prehaps @llamedos should fax them the picture to be sure :ROFLMAO:

I always buy coach bolts rather than standard cup head bolts because you can use them for other jobs.(y)

Bolt
A fastener consisting of a threaded pin or rod with a head at one end, designed to be inserted through holes in assembled parts and secured by a mated nut that is tightened by applying torque.
I'd sooner have a screw anyday:ROFLMAO: dont care if its on a coach or not, in a coach ok as long as she's goodlooking

A bolt always has an unthreaded part on the shank. If it is threaded all the way to the head its a "machine screw".
think you will find a bolt without thread to the top is a shouldered bolt.

As in most bolts you can get shouldrered bolts with different lengths of shoulder.

as said earlyer if its got a pointed end its a screw if it flat its a bolt, bolts mainly use nuts.

So if you got nuts you dont have a screw!

That's a double definition like "river Avon"! A bolt always has a shoulder unthreaded, unless it's a machine SCREW.

So if you have nuts, you won't have a screw. However to have a screw you can't have nuts.

Mmmmm who'd have thought a simple question could go on for so long.
