Corten steel

Found myself thinking about it today. I've never heard of it being used in ag, why is that? Would its corrosion resistance not make it a suitable candidate for any applications?

My Taarup-Kidd mixer wagon lower body is made of Cor-Ten steel. In fact both of them are. [I have a smaller one scrapped]

Its probably down to the price as it can be quite expensive.

Surely it’s easier to just galvanise once fabricated?

Our old Farmhand F11 loader is made from Corten .
