Im try cost up new workshop roughly had qoute from some one.
Whats general costings for ready mix concrete need 21m3 for footings and flooring
And need 2660 4" concrete blocks also.
Any ideas on costings?
£1 a block?
Im in south west somerset/whiltshire border

I'd allow £90 for readymix, but might be cheaper for footings, I think you'd have to allow the £1 a block aswell, I haven't bought any for a couple of years.

As above. Priced some RC40 recently - £90 was the cheapest, ranging up to nearly £98! That was for approx 9 cube.

I think we have aggregate tax? Not sure though! I know we have it on gravel but never queried concrete?

I think you do but get an 80% rebate compared to rest of UK.

Up here in soggy Cumbria, I am getting close to paying £100 per cube for concrete.
Blocks cost me approx 65P each when buying by the 1008 (8 wheeler wagon load carries 14 packs,each containing 72 blocks hence 1008 blocks) . I'll double check my latest block invoice when I get it in next day to two.

I've just had a load of 4"solids for 66p/block for a 8 wheeler load I think they came from Kendal way they're not white more a light brown/orange
Concrete round home is around the £85-90 mark
Cheapest concrete I found was in Leicestershire dearest in Kent
Surprisingly also not so bad at £79 near London just outside m25
