I suppose it is Countryfile rather than 'farmerphile'.

Actually thought it could have been interesting last night, the item on medicinal uses of plants and the guy growing daffs in the welsh hills to produce a drug for Alzheimer's, the growing of loads of hectares of peppermint to distil the oil and growing poppies to produce opiates, hadn't realised you could grow that kind of poppy successfully in the UK.

Altogether It could be developed into a very interesting TV series, as it was it was all just skimmed over.

Craven is still an annoying twit though

Most farmers would know damn well if their wheat or barley was nearer to 19% than to 14%, is soya that difficult to guess before taking the combine to the field?

Looked wetter than 19% when he was putting it in the protimeter, but guess that might be due to oil content.

Good old Davy is like me, putting on weight :ROFLMAO:

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
