There goes the waiting list on gates upto 12 months, was hoping to buy a crush this year, but no hope in getting a deal now,

Let's get a bit more respect from our customer by filling the industry with more false money.

A grassland overseeder will be the opico Harrow type machine or the wox scratch machine type surely any machine with a disc or Coulter that can sow into a defined slot will be classed as a direct drill?

You really do have to match uour purchases to the exact specification that defra want.....i tried to be clever last year and shopped around for their min spec equipment requirements that were a lot cheaper than what their minimum costs were stated.Bought heat recovery unit, cluster flush, crush, and electric cow brush and managed to purchase everything for 10000 less than their own costs.Paid for everything ,sent all required paperwork in correctly and come end of october.....no grant back...made a noise ,only to be told they were not paying up because crush was not required spec.
I was told by defra to not bother appealing as i would not be succesful.....long story short.......nfu appealed on my behalf and we won and was paid in march this year.....i am not eligible this second round because of 9000 limit and to be honest i am relieved as the temptation to buy something else to just get grant suckered me in before!
