Covid and farmers

Most of us with cattle will have been exposed to calves scouring with Rotavirus and Coronavirus. (the calves, not us). We are bound to have picked up a bit of immunity over time, so is there any evidence or reason to suppose that such immunity might also make us less susceptible to Covid 19?

Unfortunately there are many strains of Coronavirus. The strain that causes COVID-19 in humans is SARS-CoV-2. The bovine strain is bCoV. I’m not saying there is definitely no immunity based on this (see cowpox and smallpox as an example). But I’m sure the scientists and virologists will be looking into it
