Cow had abortion, now wont eat

Hi I had a cow abort a calf, about a month early. No reason why, vet has taken bloods from cow. I milked her the day she calved, all ok. Yesterday she was not great looking so vet tubed her with recovery drink and gylcol. I went to the yard this morning and she milked a small amount, but Is not eating. I put fresh feed in front of her twice.

I dont want to lose her, any ideas?

Pump her up with warm water with 250ml of glycol or Leo cud.

How long calved is she?
Retained cleansing dragging her down? (Anything that aborts invariably sticks to it) Treat with Synulox rtu if needed.
20ml of Dexadreson which is a strong anti-inflammatory, will treat ketosis and might stimulate her appetite.
Try spoiling her.....some nice hay/haylage, or molassed calf ration, bucket of warm water. Dose her with pro-rumen. Pump her up if poss if she won't drink it.
If that doesn't get her turning over, get the vet back-probably twisted ☹

some abort for 'disease' reasons, a sign something is really going wrong, sounds like a bad infection, have a good go treating her, but, be realistic, in todays society, people are very quick to ring rspca, or an health, we try and get anything that looks 'bad' and doesn't respond, gone. To many eyes, and do gooders out there. the old adage, where you have livestock, you get deadstock. Good luck though.
