At the moment our agronomist emails a PDF recommendation through, I pick it up on my phone, fill the sprayer as directed and apply it.
The PDF sheet has columns for recording date, conditions, operator etc. The problem is as its PDF it isn't easy to edit, so I then have to scrawl down the facts on a bit of paper and try not to use it, or make a not on my phone, then when back in the office, print off the recommendation, add the details and put it in the folder.
As i'm doing a lot more spraying next year I want to simplify this, so what do others do?
I looked at importing the PDFs to Evernote which would sync them back to the office, but the text editing function seems pretty crude looking at youtube.
Get the recommendations sent out as an excel file which would be more easily edited, then share the files back to the office through dropbox?
Not too keen to subscribe to something simply to do simple record keeping, want a cheap solution done from a phone or old ipad.
