As per title potentially considering a ride on brush and dispenser type.

Currently have a little push along ag which is ok but far from perfect. If we can get the beds sorted we can drop a man so a fair saving to be had.

So what are the options? And any idea on price before I get to excited?

What is your one man doing unless you’ve got 600+ cows a ride on compared to ag dispenser won’t make a lot of difference.

Your kicking cows out anyways , scrape beds while doing that’s them fire on bags of sawdust my first group is 200 cows can kick them out scrape walk overs and put 6 bags of saw dust on in 15/20 mins,
Have the sawdust well placed ready before you start.

One man will be milking is the plan

200beds just seems a fair weight dragging the dispenser about and I feel it blows too much to the front of the bed and it gets lost as it’s so windy.

Yes potentially if it could work with auto scrapers and depending on how easy it is to load.

it depends on what the auto-scrapers are scraping into ..if its scraping into a cattle slat or grid it probably wont work, if it scraping into a lagoon or chamber it will be fine. its easy to load, what part of wales are you located? I will be in Wales tomorrow from 11 am heading from Holyhead to Dairy event in telford

We can easily do a demo for you if that helps, probably on Thursday of this week, you most likely need a 48" drum diameter version for 200 cows, self propelled

Selling the bobman was the best thing we ever did.

Engine got choked on dust, brush used to smear any wet muck up the next 10 beds and brushed off way more sawdust than was needed to.

A good handscraper and an oversized bedding machine on the tractor is what you need. Bed 200 cubicles in one load

About £3k, but have yet to do a deal on it. It holds 2 bags of sawdust and has an adjustable speed belt depending on how far you want sawdust blown up the beds.

Will you have it with the 3rd wheel. The ag is a fair bit cheaper but it’s fairly heavy unless your on all concrete

Q bed is supposed to be the dogs but @£12k and a limited hopper size I'd stick to the ag and a scraper blade when the cows go out.

Secondhand bobman here, fantastic machine! 30 minutes work by hand done in 3 minutes. Ability to handle bulk sawdust a big benefit.

Easy access to maintain

And the OH can drive it

147 cubicles in three minutes [emoji1305] scraping off the beds with hand scraper before hand takes about 15 minutes
