Cultivator modifications

Recently picked up a Cousins type 28 cultivator hoping that it will reduce the passes needed to create a seedbed and hopefully make a smooth field for reseeding.
Had a bit of a go with it and the front tines are not really suited to what I’m doing following the Simba discs, thought about replacing the tines with a short disc setup similar to that on a Carrier, I’ve found legs that might of done the job,
Would these do the job? What spacing would be best? Maybe more importantly would it be worthwhile? My thinking is that I could have a 6m cultivator for the price of a 3m shortdisc type machine. 91C8FD95-1B4A-47E2-84FD-A1C1737B4E29.jpeg
