Daily weight gain per day on Easycare

Hello

What you you expect to gain on tradition welsh x wilt lambs. Birth weight 4 - 6kg Flock of 80 ewes. Say half of them produced twins. Average birth date say mid March.

Under stocked but average grass not great but regularly moved. Ewes were bolused mid Feb and the lambs vit drench 2 weeks ago. No other supp feeding.

Im trying to work out approx dates when ready - sort of 38kg.

Assuming they're not flying, say 250g per average? So drawing lambs from July, through August and September. If you've got something a bit better for weaned lambs to go onto, that would help greatly.

Got some singles at 36kg born 5-12th March, I’ll tell you in a few hours how the twins are doing.

I’d think you’d be killing some singles mid June ?

The 2 with green stripes are 37kg + and the green circle is 34kg. Twins I assume as the are 52 ewes with 106 lambs. Born from early March, havnt been on anything of much good

Crikey I am embarrassed to say my weight gain isnt anywhere near that. So far weights are 10 - 16kg. Didnt realise you could get such good growth on grass in such a short time. I really dont think our grass is doing anything any good. Even though we are understocked and have grass there must be serious issues. We recently had it all tested and much the usual needs lime etc. We have limed but need to fertilise.
