Hello,
We are two veterinary students from The Royal Veterinary College that are looking for a diary/calving placement with accommodation provided. Our university requires us to attend a two week placement placement at a farm with around 90 dairy cattle.
However due to covid the dairy requirement has been removed, yet we are still wanting to develop our skills within this area so would really value this learning experience. Therefore there may also be a small leeway with the amount of cattle on the farm.
We are extremely enthusiastic and work well in a team as well as completing tasks individually.
We have no preference in area within the UK as long as we can buy travel there.
We are hoping to find a placement with a start time between the 20th of March to around the beginning of April for a period of 2 weeks. However we understand placements within this time frame are harder to find and if not possible we would be interested in completing this in the summer period.
If anyone has any information regarding any suitable placements/farms, we will really appreciate your help.
