I can't believe anyone can be as useless as Mole Country Stores. They seem to set the bar in general ignorance.
know a chap, fairly well up, in the mole valley group, they have huge problems with staffing, but, as he says, if you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. And they only pay basic wages, that results in the service we get.
£10 an hour, doesn't really cover the cost of living today, yet to increase that, means the costs of living, will have to rise, to cover the higher wages.
No idea of how to solve it, if it is solvable

Their all the things now that they started up to not be, too large and too costly, get 95% of our farm supplies from watermans of Tiverton, 100% better 👌

Well compared to countrywide they were a revelation , must have gone down hill then but I not in there every week but they seem to have what ever need when call in at Melton

For a company as cash rich as MVF, I find that a very sad situation to be in. It's a company entirely reliant on it's people. Without them it would just be some letters on a lorry.

Problem is they have far too many managers on a very high wage that bring nothing to the business!

Many of their staff on the frontline will be paid a lot less than £10 hour!
