Dairy Herd Fertility - how do you read the signs?

Just wondered what you use to detect heat in cows? Where would you go for advice dairy cattle fertility - Vet, specialists at the agricultural merchant or an AI specialist?

tail paint for 5 weeks and teaser bull and tail paint later on.We have 2 vets visits a season to check non bullers at the start of breeding and around 24 days in to check those not served.

Your p4 rapid test is good to check suspected heat / pregnancy when relying on heatime collars, when there are not many cows bulling, for me at the end of the service block.
