DB 990 lift capacity ?

quick question , what weight will a DB 990 lift with front arms ? i know it lifts a bit more than the 1394 and thats less than a tonne , been asked to lift a tonne bag of sand , but bit of a drive and dont want to get there and find it wont move it cheers

Do you mean with a DB loader, and if so which model of loader

Whatever loader is on it the sensible thing is to use a counterbalance weight in preference to wheel ballasting with water or cast iron

As said, it depends on the loader. Later DB loaders with double acting lift rams lift more. Our 996s will easily lift a ton, most I've lifted was a ton and a quarter that was on a pallet plus there was the weight of the forks.
Keeping the weight close helps and dry sand is a lot lighter than wet sand.
