The DB6 is not in that league yetIf he had kept it it be a mansion now or well over 800 acre farm somwhere?
That's a miracle ?Well out of Aston Martin league I know, but I won a Landrover Freelander with a Case tractor. The Freelander lasted longer than the tractor.
I think Case gave four or five away to help shift the last of the 42 series.
That's a miracle ?
Wow that tractor must have been bad!The Freelander lasted longer than the tractor.

Yes it was, a 4240XL, with cheap old Riko loader. The Freelander was a diesel 5 door and is I think that the local bloke I sold it to after I ran it for ten years or so, still has it, but not on the road.
The IH went after about five years.
The last IH we had only stayed with us 5 years too. A 674, nothing but trouble.Yes it was, a 4240XL, with cheap old Riko loader. The Freelander was a diesel 5 door and is I think that the local bloke I sold it to after I ran it for ten years or so, still has it, but not on the road.

Freelander ?Have you seen how pigmen treat their tractors
Here you go, feast on this, a scan of the actual original transparency that was commissioned by Case-IH to accompany the competition to win the Aston Martin DB in late 1987/early 1988. The car was painted in Case-IH red by the way! View attachment 562712

Few about - you want to go to Tractor World few there .If only someone bought a 1594 just like that, and had kept it, replaced, repaired and upgraded components for 30 years in a triggeresque fashion, flettled, tweaked and rubbed and tucked her up with a hot water bottle each night and then told us how well it was standing the times with modern tractors..
Sigh.........
I guess we will never know...
