Death Throws of No Deal

Who said I wanted a deal? A deal is an artificial cooked up agreement that satisfies only the bureaucrats.
I don`t want a deal but at the same time I do not want trade to cease because a load of protectionists want to throw up artificial barriers. Is that so difficult to comprehend?

Spelling mistake should be "Why do you want NO deal " @Werzle was the one promoting this.
Trade agreements are not cooked up by bureaucrats, they are generally done by extremely good negotiators and benefit the countries that have them. Are you promoting world wide free trade? Bring it on.

Beef burgers full of horse meet, cull cow meet from Poland slaughtered at the dead of night when the vets are in bed, the list is endless. We have been paying for a premium service and nothing changes. Better we look after ourselves.

Completely false representation to use these as examples of the consequences of trading with EU members under a FT agreement. Both the above are illegal and criminals act illegally to get around the law banning such practices - ie that’s the point. In terms of horse meat and the new global trade we desire, do you think we have more ability to stop the biggest exporters of horse meat to Europe (Argentina) from “slipping in a few kilos of horse with beef” than we do policing EU to the UK. Fact is we only know of horse gate because we have measures in place to pick it up. Expanding trade simply expands the risk.

or what about "meat not fit enough to be dog food" that came from south america, or do you forget about that, or maybe you like some Listeriosis infected fruit from the usa.

You keep bring up the horse meat scandal which was fraud, people were punished and was caught thanks to the high checks we put in place

and BTW you still to answer my question
"so you be quite happy with a load of foot and mouth infected cows loaded with all the chemicals from hell from Africa, swamping the UK, driving British farmers out of business "

and it a yes/no answer so stop deflecting

so no you don't want to see "Bad beef" coming into the UK destroying British farming, but at the same time you don't want to put up any barriers to stop it. so how do you intent to stop it.

you will never stop Food fraud. you always find some asshole will to Break the law for a few pounds. But with a trade deal you can make it much harder for them to commit the fraud by standardised the rules traceable and welfare.
also with a trade deal you can find and act much faster, look at the horse meat scandals. it was caught and all effected foodstuff was removed in months cause we were in the EU, while the dog food scandal went on for years

I want it so that trade is shaken to its foundations and we can then see what is what. We will see who and what is true and what lies have been told, if any. We will get to see trade at its bare bones, supply and demand at its keenest. I cannot see what being part of the eu has done for english farmers and i want to witness what happens , good or bad.

Leaving the eu is just the start .

could you elaborate how you would be better with a no deal?
In the event of no deal with the EU the UK will be looking for trade deals anywhere it can get them, the UK will be in a weak position, negotiating with very experienced trade negotiators in trade talks with NZ. Agriculture is our main export and not high on the list for the UK.
Even with a trade deal with the EU the UK would still get into trade talks with NZ however they would be in a stronger position.
