Derbyshire rural crime team is appealing for information following the death of a sheep and a lamb due to livestock worrying.

The team issued a video of a woman in Howden Dam, Bamford, on June 19, 2024, at 3:50p.m.

The woman was with five dogs and a small toddler.

Derbyshire rural crime team said the five dogs were not on leads and some of the dogs chased and attacked sheep and a lamb.

One sheep and a lamb ran into the reservoir to get away from the attack where they both drowned.

A witness said one of the dogs seemed to be a sausage dog.

Anyone with any information regarding the incident is asked to contact the crime team quoting reference 24*363748.

North Wales Police is investigating two separate livestock attacks at the same location on land at the rear of CwmAlis Road, Fron, Wrexham.

The force is appealing for witnesses of the attacks, which took place on the weekend of June 8 and June 9 and on June 17.

It is believed that two dogs were involved in the incidents.

North Wales Police said: “Clearly there is a real issue at this location and these dogs need catching before more sheep are killed.”

The force is urging anyone with information to contact it via web chat on the force website or by 101 quoting incident reference 24000545206.
