Error 18 or T18 is usually the fork has broken that holds one of the clutch pack solenoids valves in.

Stop driving immediately and get dealer to bring a fork and replace it. (I don't know why an error message that says this doesn't always come up, will have saved a few people a reasonable bill!)

Sometimes you can be lucky and depending which packs are in you'll have done no damage.

Sometimes you can be not so lucky and if you have carried on driving you may have burnt out one of the packs and the tractor will need to be split, pack taken apart, plates replaced etc.

Error 18 is transmission system pressure low. This covers the entire system, powershift , pto , main clutch, difflock. The most common problem is caused by broken clip as stated above. Sometimes the retaining lip on the valve, breaks. You can often turn the valve around a bit , to get a fresh hold.
There are four gaskets sandwiched between the valve chest and the transmission casing, sometimes one of the gaskets can go between the oil galleries, causing low pressure.

Could even be as simple as a faulty pressure sensor. Clips are easiest thing to check first, if they are ok , then put a pressure gauge , into check pressure.

As others have said check the forks holding the solenoids for the powershifts, I had the error 18 problem once but it was the pressure switch, very simple to change switch and fault code goes away.
But keep old switch and cut the wires off with plug , join the wires together so that if you have the switch go ever again just plug in old switch wires so it links wires so that you can use tractor with no alarms going off ( dealer trick if its not the forks bent or broken while the new switch arrives.)

I was looking for help on the same matter just going out to a M620 spool valves lost pressure and stopped driving the fault code is system pressure signal not valid code M18...... just wondering would it be more towards the sender or the fork? and if so is the fork accessible from side housing?

Doubt it's the forks if the spools have lost pressure and it's stopped driving completely ?.... but yes the forks are under a long rectangular box cover, sits behind the battery box.

This is what you'll find under the cover ( ghat isn't a deutz tractor but is the same transmission )... the top 2 solenoids are the 2 that control the power shifts.

I've had this code just pop up today, everything working as it should so think its the sensor. Where is the sensor located?

Hi
From memory the mechanic looked into the side of transmission block on right hand side (if you're sitting in tractor seat)
Can't remember what the cure was but don't think it took long
Sorry not much help and 2015 was a long time ago
