So I’ve been a bit of an addict. I have to confess. I’ve the boxes, the draw unit the little and massive impact driver . Now bought the sds drill….. to be fair. They are all very good and batteries charge quick

I’m the reverse.
Five minutes or the full half hour?
I have 40 year old dewalt items and 30 year old Makita items.
Makita were certainly ahead in the cordless game.
Dewalt were there with mains workshop machinery in the 80’s and probably before that. But then there were Wadkin machines
Ryobi were in the running too. I have a 40 year old Ryobi portable chain morticing machine that has build several timber barn frames.

I like DEWALT, was going to change to Milwaukee after the last break in, but they left 2 tools and 2 batteries so replaced again with DEWALT. I do like the yellow colour, easier to find in certain scenarios

Does parkside count?... they work for me but i give them little use and no-one nicks them!

PS the impact drivers work well, but seem to overtighten.

Probably a futile attempt to fund my own power tool collection. Most of you confessing have likely already spent everything you have on you own collections.

I suspect the noise and time tends to put them off getting too creative with cordless grinders. Most of the incidents around here seem to still favour the classic bolt cutter.

…I just had to buy grinders and impact guns to collect the free chargers.

DeWalt addict here. Started with a drill. . . then a grinder. Now a recip saw. Magic!

Love the little Dewalt impact drivers, paired with a 5 a/h battery they can do a lot of work in a day and punch well above their weight. The ideal bit of kit for changing wearing metal.

When the gearbox on my Makita failed, I had a look inside and there was very little grease in it so I opened my other grinders and they were the same so those and the Makita replacement were duly topped up.
