Sure I saw a post about off label DFF used on forage maize. Anybody any experience?

No such approval in England, on label or off label.
It has been approved since may 2016 in Denmark for "minor usage" in a lot of crops, where the usage is too small for any supplier to pay for regular approval. Among these forage maize.
I have used it in maize with succes for several years now, and will continue to do so, as long as i can.
