Diane Abbott.

She is a very strong debater, has a sense of humour, as for her bosom I haven't noticed 🤫🤣.

When we were still milking I used a homeopathic treatment to keep the white cell count down, ours was always in the bonus band but as it only cost less than a hundred quid a year I tried it, after a couple of weeks the test results showed a small but steady decline, this continued for several months then settled, I then stopped using it for a month or so and the level rose a bit, despite being mid summer, I then started using it again and it fell, I did this several times over the next couple of years and always had the same results.
When I was milking I had a problem with leptospirosis one year, spent a fortune on antibiotics and vaccines to try and eradicate it, all to no avail.

A young vet in the practice rang me one day and asked if I'd be interesting in trying homeopathy. At my wits end I was prepared to try anything.

It worked, don't understand how, but it worked.

So I now consider anyone who mocks it a fool.

Sceptical is fine, but don't mock what you don't understand.

*edit* - sorry mods, off-topic I know, it was a reply to a specific point.

Protocol isn't claptrap in Parliament, it is what ensures the place works.

As I wrote, the Speaker may simply have had enough of her previous contributions to put him off calling on her for a while.

Regardless of this instance, for the whole of her political career any time anything has not gone as she wants it to, she has without fail claimed to be a victim of racial bias. She even claimed, initially, that it was racist to label her as a hypocrite for condemning private schools while sending her son to one - but she stopped that when it turned out that many of those calling her a hypocrite were themselves black, and her constituents...

But it's what she does, as did her contemporary and parallel the awful Grant and the revolting Vaz too. And it worked so well for them that the next generation of non-white Labour MPs do too, the idiot Lammy and many others - in fact almost all of those on the Labour 'left', it's worked for them for years so it's what they do, they don't know what else to do - but it's rather tired now, people have seen through it.

To justify your claim...
“Daft” “revolting” “awful” “idiot” is a large number of personal insults even for your fetid internet persona. How would you characterise a government who offer contracts out people who donate money to them. In Hester’s case £15m. Incidentally we don’t yet know what Kwarteng will receive for his disastrous budget. It will be interesting to see where his future employment lies, as if we cannot see through his and Truss’s corruption.

I'd use many or even all of the same where appropriate. (y)

Can't say she is exactly my cup of tea, but she is well liked and supported by her constituents and I suppose that's what counts. And I take my hat off to her for the many decades she has remained an MP, despite the huge amounts of vitriol and hatred she has been subjected to over that time.
Yes, despite some hypocrisy (who of us don't indulge), I imagine Ms Abbott has been a good constituency MP, just not fit for cabinet level. Comments by Tory donor inexcusable.
