Diesel Problem...

Since the ferrys are running an emergency timetable, basically freight only and essential travel for locals the fuel company that delivers petrol and diesel to our small community run fuel station can't get a Dangerous Goods booking for nearly two weeks. I have red diesel in my tank but my white tank is bone dry... The pickup is running on air now so the question is... do I or don't I??? Using it for a lot things on the croft just now too. Animal welfare? I imagine me sticking a bit of red in until I can get white wouldn't really be of any concern to the government just now?

There are well proven ways to handle this , it may even be shown on a government site some where.
Essentially keep a record of all the red you have put in the truck and why.
If you are concerned speak to HMRC
