Digital weigh-head cable problem

My dog has chewed the end off the cable that connects the weigh-head to the load bar on my Rancher Gripper . Had a proper look at it tonight. I was hoping that the load bar end would be similar to the other end and would simply need disconnected and replaced. But it goes in to a housing that I was reluctant to poke about with.

So, what's the best way to proceed? I don't even know what the proper name for the cable is! Photos below, with the culprit in the background.

You love him really .

Strip them out both ends if theres enough . Get some appropriate size heat shrink ( and bigger sleeve to go over the lot at the end )slide on one end.

then solder each wire and shrink the sleeves over and s bind of insulation tape over the top again if you like.

Hmm, soldering and the like isn't my thing, plus I can't even find the weigh-head end now. She's probably buried it! Thanks for the advice but I wouldn't trust myself to do it anyway.

Will I need to send it away to get repaired?

Busted the end of my Ritchie digital scales this spring. Of course spare parts couldn't be got but my local electrical repair guy put new male and female ends on weigh scale and bridge.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
