Moores drilled wheat into 4year grass ley

Looks good. I have used a Moore drill for over 25 years and continue to do so, although we often struggle to get it in the ground in the presence of much surface trash in no-till situations. Works well in tillage situations and no-till after crops like peas, stripped linseed and spring rape. Great all round drill.

I have a Front tank for Fert if need be. The pipe just drops Fert in the trench the a share makes works v well. I did see claydon are doing it on the new drills now.
 
These chaps have made a set of cutting discs for the front links, good idea for getting the drill to go through a lot of trash without having to spend ages swapping discs and tines?
They seem to rate it but was their reasoning front weight rather than trash cutting? Would like to of seen the drill working the same field with the discs out of work.

Those discs aren't doing the same job as you get using the claydon replacement discs mounted to the drill.
