I’m looking for a forklift or preferably teletruk for using around the yard. Diesel trucks seem to be in short supply compared to gas powered. Obviously I have diesel on site so gas will be a PITA but are there any other pitfalls or maybe advantages to gas?

propane trucks use a lot of fuel, but it is cheap, one i used to run would burn a 12kg bottle in 8 hour work day, but it was running all day without a break, but they are quieter. deisels are a lot easier in respects to haveing fuel on hand and reliability wise, if you can find an old linde h25 with the deutz engine its absolutly bombproof, I use one on the swede farm i do some casual labour for and its been abused and beaten everyday of its life, but it just keeps soldiering on. the engines so worn it'll fill a shed with smoke in seconds so thick itll make your eyes water, and its been run out of oil more than once. but it justs keeps on going and going.
