Bought 8 heifers average 1700gns,back running through my parlour by 4.45 yesterday afternoon and seem to have settled in well

Yeah was hell of a sale, spoke to Mark Davies last night and was a very good bunch of cows. Everything sold well.

we usually get it on 1 dec, only difference this year, is 13 hectares less, can't see any problem there.
I did ring up, and was told 'in validation, but nothing obvious wrong', all it means, is some people are going to have to wait a bit longer, getting shut down with tb, baggered our cashflow up, we had some fresh calvers to sell, money to help with the winter low milk cheques, as we dry of. Although the cows are keeping the milk up surprisingly well, spr cows still going out on kale by day, running at 13 liters 5.4 bf and 4.01 protien.

averaged £980 at holsworthy to day, and they didn't look a patch on Mondays herd. A lot of older xbred cows, and quite a few 3 titters, reckon you are not the only one to spend the sfp on cows !!
