Docks!

Hi

As like in many parts of the country, this precipitation continues to hamper my thoughts about going out and harrowing the f**k out of our paddocks after the sheep have left to give the growing docks a headache vs chemical approach, because I am seeing some pop up around the site as antiipated due to previous years neglect - so wondered what other more experienced views would be to address this problem before they grow too big.

Chemical weapons.

Thank you

I had thought this may be my only option (knapsack only at present), but I could maybe add a small sprayer to the clubcar once I get me finger out me arse and book me boom sprayer course!!

Land is sodden though, so even that could make a mess - so bit of excercise with the old knappy, but need some drier weather to spray though, then decide which chem..

@Farmer Roy would probably like to share some of our precipitation!!!

Some= uprooting or spot spraying.

In reality this means a boom sprayer over the whole lot usually!

Thank you. Unfortunately I am limited to knapsack until I get my finger out to go on the boomsprayer course - is on the list, but a lot of other jobs currently taking my focus.

1 litre Starane .

Thanks Bob

Not used that so quickly looked at spec sheet to see if can be used with knapy - all good there it seems:

Knapsack and 12 Volt Sprayer Packs
Only recommended for the control of herbaceous
weeds such as cobblers peg, docks and wandering jew.

Will it knock the paddocks back after the application from your experience?

I have PA's but my supplier only wants my holding number......Rooting docks for half an hour a day is a good therapy, particularly now as they pull out beautifully. Spot spray is second on the list. After the initial spurt of activity keeping on top of them is relatively easy.:D
