Has yours worn through or...?? Would you run your pump without it being cooled.?

Yeah it's worn through, 8am gearbox full of oil all ok14.30 no oil in gearbox and slurry in jacket! = seized pump!!

Not sure what to do with it at mo, might rebuild and by pass jacket and then just use as a booster at lower revs, but then I'd still need a new main pump.

Just patch the jacket and rebuild wouldn't run 1 without the cooler

Same happened with us... All oil dissapeard, hole in the jacket... Sorted it out. Put a couple of blanks on it and recirculate oil. Not had a problem since and it's been like that for probably a good 14 months.
