Does this mean the government are still going ahead with elms with no rethink

This morning in my post an invitation written in April. well dated in April. Asking if I would like to join a pilot scheme for seeing how elms is going to affect lowland livestock farmers in devon . An advisor comes out from Devon county council and looks at your business and will work out how much more or Less you will make once elms is introduced .Disappointing to say the least , I thought they would have some rethink.

Might well have just been a planned before and staff just carrying on as have no new instructions,may be don,t worry to much just yet.

I’d say that slot if things will be reassessed after covid including grants tiers and subs but we all need food so don’t panic we are more relevant than ever
