Actually my grass stopped growing while it was trying to avoid drowning. But really racing now. Wouldn't look so smart if it were wheat.
400ac?? With no grain!!I'm more than happy to take a chance on (End Jan) until 10th Feb.
But how much further to chance it is going to be an interesting decision.
Worked OK here in 2013 when we turned every (End Jan) variety into (End Feb) - and then had 22 frosts in March.
edit :- as one of the Moulin generation, I know exactly how it feels to cut 400 acres of wheat with no grain in it.
Unfortunately, the HGCA don't seem to have bothered to spend any of the many thousands I've sent them over the years upon this problem, but a bit of work's been done in the US.

No just a 4m rigidFair comment but my funds don't stretch to one of those, a cheap accord to go on the back of the power harrow this season was the next bet thing with a 1.5m front press. Was the front back type a folding power harrow as they wouldn't be far off the same weight, 3 gear boxes and more frame work etc.
What seed rate drilling date combining date yield ectDid WO here in spring of 2013 no real issues just later to combine.
Doing the same this year but hopefully in before April

roughly 200kg/ha i thinkWhat seed rate drilling date combining date yield ect

Is that how you got your name?
Wouldn't have cost too much over the past 7 years since this problem last arose in 2012/13 to carry out cheap and simple trials with, say, three different WW varieties of different maturity characteristics at three widely different locations and at three different planting dates in the spring.I am not sure what you think HGCA could do differently with your levy money to assist?
3mIs that 4m ? done well to pull it .
roughly 200kg/ha i think
9th of April 2013
Yielded 2.8/2.9t/ac
was just a bit later to harvest kinda when spring oats would be
Ive got to do sum this spring
Way to go
Yes the Auvergne Rhone AlpesWhere is that ? France??
Yours?Yes the Auvergne Rhone Alpes
Surprised seed getting covered as not removing the tracks. Pre-ems not going to work too well either in those clods.

Would have provided enough good data to publish an interesting interactive risk mapping exercise with yields correlated with sowing dates/variety/ latitude/ height above sea level, etc.
No need to have gone public with either the results or with the advice until now when they are actually needed.
