Drilling turnips

Just don't "rely" on the keep produced when planting later than about a fortnight ago!
Not having a direct drill and hating relying on contractors, I've been ploughing some close cropped grassland (no round up spray because seeding timeliness is more important than grass kill imo) also ploughing summer grazed fodder crop ground and double cropping back to turnips but 20th August is my must plant before date.
All seed is spread with atv and electro broadcast with 10:1 fertiliser as carrier for seed then Cambridge rolled.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
