Dropside Trailer sides

Have a dropside trailer but sides push out with a load. Does anybody put a bar going from side to side on top or what other simple solutions to stop them bowing?

Length of 16mm threaded rod ,,nip the sides together

Don’t put the connection between the sides on top if you use the trailer for flowable grain 1/2 to 2/3 the way up from the bottom will be better .

I put a ratchet strap around on one of my older trailers. Easy to put on and easy to take off.

BEWARE
What are you carting as if its larger than grain or gravel it will block up behind the strap/chain
It doesnt need much to leave half a load up front and turn trailor over
