E BAY AWASH WITH SCAMS ?

looking today in the ford tractor section of e bay, yes the same ford 6610 series 2 with loader , got a continental hitch and number plate, says recides in perth ? at a low price ? then go on the classic cars section others stick out , waiting like a baited hook to catch some poor? maybe greedy person thinking they can catch a bargin ? why dosnt ebay do more to stop these frauds happening ?

They probably have to rely on folk reporting. I also assume they quite happily take the listing fees?

Can I just say, any form of advertising costs money,
Use it as a global advert, I’ve just sold a grain drier to Uganda, for drying coffee, no fees as contacted me directly,

If you had not received payment you would not have paid had you opened a dispute.
I did get caught for fees on an old car sold before Christmas one year. Lady asked to collect after Christmas. Then moved to after New Year. Then suddenly she did not want is and I was too late to stop the ebay process.

But opening up the dispute still does not give you access to the genuine people who wanted to buy.

Take your point with that. I only use ebay for a classified add. Under £10 for a piece of machinery. I note many use a photo with their contact number. Ebay don't seem to be able to spot that easily.

Ford 6610 4wd Tractor with Quicke Loader | eBay

All gears working including electric high/low. All lights working. Super Q cab in good condition with all glass and side padding in place. Only light occasional use - tyres 90% rear - 20% front.
