just now there will be a queue at your gate to buy anything with a shell. Probably different in 6 months time.

Lad we buy our eggs off has 3 lads on the road doing doorstep deliveries - £8 a tray - & he is struggling to cope with the demand

What is the current free range egg price and feed cost?

The budget I have been given doesn’t include any allowance for mortality and fees costs seem low at £200/tonne!

If you've been given inaccurate figures to base your costings on, do you trust them to be fair and honest when you've invested heavily in a chicken shed and are tied into producing for them?

This is slightly different tread but along the same lines .There is 6000 bird fr house all equipment house etc for sale €60000 to clear . If I was to spend another 60k relocating this house concrete etc would it be worth the hassle seems like a cheaper way into the game although in a small way €20 a bird .
