Eight working days to go........

Most leavers are getting on with their jobs/ life.

Plenty of remain voters can stay all day outside parliament because most of them are either paid by the likes of soros to stand there or are retired and getting good pensions ( which the latter is mostly ex civil service pensions which the private sector is paying for)

Statistically, the remainers are the younger working population and the brexiteers are the older retired.

As a remainer highland mule you would be much better off campaigning for brexit but a soft brexit, that way you may get some support from leavers.

But as long as remainers spread fake news/information/ insult leavers etc all you are doing is making the case much stronger for leaving the EU under WTO rules.

I'm not aware I have insulted anyone tonight, and hope it wasn't you. If I have, I apologise, and didn't realise you were a sensitive soul.

Yet more fake facts by remainers...

I know far more young people who voted to leave than remain.

And I know of more older people who voted to remain than leave.

And this is the same across most of the UK.

TV news crew were in a uni the other day, asked about 100 students ( none were old enough to have a vote in 2016 ) to put up their hands if they would vote to remain in the EU, about 40% put their hands up, they were then asked if they would vote to leave the EU, approx. 60% put their hands up......

And this was in a remain voting city!

Clearly you are interested, as you've replied. And yes, I'm glad we live in a democracy.

As pointed out in the Poll Analysis .. Remain is little more than the Labour Party .. in fact 60% of the vote for Remain is Labour orientated.

Yet they are not in Government, have lost the EU referendum .. but expect to dominate not only government but also the EU referendum.

Whilst Corbyn is the most hated politician in the UK.

Isn't it time Remoaners took to learning the English Language and understanding what a Democracy IS.

Most people when asked outside a voting both to tell the questioner how they voted will say the opposite of how they actually voted.

Ie if you voted remain you will say leave and if you voted leave you will say remain, most people do this because quite rightly how they voted is their own business and not the business of anyone else!

Also if you asked the question how people voted in say London which voted for remain you will get a totally different answer to somewhere that voted leave...

Stop using twisted/ biased facts to further your pathetic argument that the UK should end democracy highland mule.

Clutching at straws there. But I'll leave you to your deluded beliefs.

Well .. as I've said before .. I never tell the truth to Polls and avoid them because I think it leads to a lack of democracy.

If politicians know what most people will vote for blindly they can disregard running the country in a ship shape fashion and just concentrate on pushing propaganda.

Had enough of that rubbish under Blair.

Don't forget there is bobby calf meat in that Donar Kebab as well as mutton(y)

Hi, had not realised there was some beef in with the sheep. Learn something new everyday. Anyway, bands were good (Deaf Havana and support La Fontaines), kebab was excellent as usual, plenty of salad and no sauces on a Nan Bread.

Next Gig and thus Kebab I have in diary is The Zutons April 2nd by which time if No Deal I could find double helpings of Kebab meat if the French export job grinds to a halt!

Best wishes,

Only poll that counts was held in 2016 it said leave and its that simple anything else is the death of democracy in this country, I can except that nearly half the voters arent happy but thats life, I remember having GE when the tories got more votes than labour but less seats, did they complain NO then we have the libs or even UKIP they both get a very poor share of seats compared to votes, Im sorry but its time remainer May just effing well got on with the job

Where as the donkey campaign is money really well spent, not

Can't disagree with that either. But my point still stands - polls are not perfect but they are most certainly not useless as others suggest. They reflect the country, albeit not exactly. The public polls showed that the 2016 referendum would be very close, and the private polls informed a whole bunch of predator investors to make a killing on the pound crashing as the voting booths closed. To say that opinion polls are meaningless is deluded.

The polls in 2016 actually showed that remain would win by a healthy margin..... didn't work out like that.

They also showed in the last two GE's that the Conservative party would win a healthy majority, again that didn't happen......

The public polls perhaps, and only if you stick to the headline figures - a sample size of 1,000 against the UK population has a statistical variance approaching 5%. If you understand the numbers behind the headlines, they are far more valuable than the journalists suggest. Those that do, had the confidence to invest heavily in a falling pound.

That must make it a fact then. :D

In reality every pole that has been conducted shows the younger you are, or in employment the more likely you voted Remain. Where as the converse is true of Leave voters the older >50, retired or unemployed the more likely you voted Leave. Interestingly with the exception of the wartime generation who were again more likely to vote Remain.
