Ekochute?

I'm looking for a manual foot trimming crush for our herd of 150 and have fancied an ekochute. I have contacted them in Northern Ireland and there aren't any in use local to us so I thought I'd ask if any of you have one and how you like it. Failing that I'd take any suggestions of an alternative. Budget won't stretch to an electric crush. Thanks in advance.

I have the electro ekochute.
Really like it.
Front feet holders work really well. Also use as treatment crush.

I would seriously consider specing an electric motor on the back bar if you added anything it is brilliant for encouraging cows in

Thanks for that. I was particularly wondering about the front foot holders as they're so different to any other crush. Will enquire as to cost of back motor as well. How long have you had it? Is it holding up well? Thanks.

Would have trimmed 750 cows. Eartagged 400 and all general cow issues. No problems so far. Could do with adding a head lock to it

How are you Ekochute boys getting on with them? Any idea how much a manual one would be? Use a contractor for routines but want a safe crush and ability to use a grinder for lame cows, these look like they have a lot of expensive crush features for presumably a lot less.

Ours arrived last October. It was about £5300 shipped from Ireland but it does have a motor on the rear bar (which is really good for pushing the cow in). I really like the crush. It's fantastic for doing front feet and it seems well built. Very happy with it.
