Noticed in the last couple of days both BMW and Honda placing adverts for future hydrogen drivetrain car technology
Unless the hydrogen is heavily subsidised or made from fossil fuels, then it will cost somewhere in the region of four times as much to run.Noticed in the last couple of days both BMW and Honda placing adverts for future hydrogen drivetrain car technology

Does it not recommence charging once the power is back on, or was it still off when she left home?message from my wife this morning -power cut last night ment car didn’t charge

What happened to the battery storage? Shouldn't that have kicked in when you had the power cut?message from my wife this morning -power cut last night ment car didn’t charge

O
Does it not recommence charging once the power is back on, or was it still off when she left home?
you need electricity to make hydrogen .............fhttps://techxplore.com/news/2024-02-inexpensive-carbon-neutral-biofuels.html
hydrogen has no chance to make it into cars, the uk government has ruled it out for cars and mains gas, until its far, cheaper to make.
and other types of solutions are coming.
Mine did this sometime back. The charger was on a timer for cheap rate, but after a power cut the charger needed unplugging from the car and plugging in again to do some sort of reset.no it didn't automatically start again for some reason, first time in 65k miles this has happened
you need electricity to make hydrogen .............f
and I know of absolutely nowhere I could fill up my Hydrogen car
.........someone remind me why its "better" ?
Interesting. Is that all done through your energy supplier? I’m with Octopus business and I don’t think they offer anything like that, unfortunately.we don't waste our battery on the car when we can use cheap off peak so car charger is set to use cheap rate mains only at the right times at this time of year when PV generation is low. Batteries are also filling when car is charging off peak even in summer as I can sell the power back on peak for less than it cost off peak !
The same could said about both petrol and lithium cars with petrol being the SFX go to for fireballs.Oh come on, where is your sense of adventure- who wouldn't want a tank of hydrogen on board in their car accompanying them on their travels? Nothing ever happened in the history of transportation involving hydrogen...
Similar was said about electric 10 years ago.you need electricity to make hydrogen .............f

I agree, as that is what I said in my post, the link I shared was for bio fuel made from wood.you need electricity to make hydrogen .............f
