Electricity connection advisor

Does anyone have any suggestions as to people who can advise on electricity connections, measure current usage and plan electrical systems? Being speaking to WPD who gave us a £65k budget estimate, which is fine but have now comeback with a more accurate estimate of £350k. Trying to find solutions and rationalise power in the yard as we currently have a spiders web of cables and excess power in the wrong places.

Many Thanks

What do your current and historic bills say.
Energy usage is usually in block graphs and highlights high and low and total consumptions for free.
We are not on 30min metering as it is an antiquated system. We have a 250kva generator running at the moment. The old one soldiers on, the new one stalls when under heavy load so we are guessing we use 250kva, and then we have 2 other feeds as well. It is a bit of a mess.....

Heavy pull?
What you doing with it?
Maybe more surge kws if switching on and off all the time units?
Industrial catering equipment. There are massive surges when the doors are shut on the cookers, and when the heating elements are on. If two cookers have the doors shut within a a minute or two of each other they stall a 275hp engine. It is a big load

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
