What’s the going rates people are being offered? We use around 180,000 kWh/year and have been offered 13.82 day rate and 10.50 night rate on a 3 year deal with EON. This is direct with them no brokers or buying group involved.

Avoid brokers. Against my better judgement I let a broker do one of our renewals.
Total balls up
Didn`t tell the current company we were leaving
Didn`t tell the new company the correct start date
When I realised there was a problem they didn`t respond to calls or emails.
Parasites.
They don`t do anything you can not do yourself

Have you checked that that is the ALL IN price per kwh? With all the levies etc, they can add another 2-3p/Kwh so be careful as they may have quoted you the headline rate.

3 years is an excellent offer though as most wont go beyond 18 months now

Bulb business is (depends on your region) 12.9 pence and 27p daily charge. Think that includes all levies etc. That was for 5,500 units/year. Tariffs are on their website. No contract period though.

Up by 15% from our current contract.
Running your quote through my patent tariff comparison tool, assuming a standing charge of 27p per day, it's better than anyone else is quoting, except Bulb.

Read the T&C's carefully: Opus put in a clause to say they can put the rate up during the contract. Eon have a bad reputation for customer satisfaction - fairly near the bottom in a recent survey. Octopus and Bulb at the top. May be better to go with a company that doesn't mess you around.

Octopus are are shower of shyte who if you scratch the surface have a load of complaints against them, me included.
Smart meter, DD set up for monthly billing, what could possibly go wrong? Firstly they changed normal rate and economy 7 around and produced an enormous bill. Rectified after a while, then after a few months started to not take moneys owing. Then said our balance was £6k, but would take £5k for quick payment, totally ignoring all moneys we had previously paid. Mrs vantage trawled through payments v consumption and the balance is of the order of £1k. Utter shower of corrupt barstewards.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
