Any options on longer? Can't see that beaten for low usage. How much are you using roughly?

I don't know, I didn't ask about longer contracts. They take 3 months' worth of expected usage and hold it as a deposit, which they take as the exit fee if you leave the contract early.
I've put it on the minimum usage limit to start off, which is 1000 kWh, which will be £20/month (so £60 deposit).😂 Crazy cheap for a 3 phase supply imo.

It's on another property that is currently unoccupied, so usage will be even less than that initially, and wont be massive after.
I wish I could cancel the contract on this place and move onto that tariff, currently (badly) fixed at 35p/unit +60p sc.😭

I have to say that, after dealing with British Gas and Opus recently, it was refreshing to speak to someone helpful, and actually over the phone, at Octopus.👍

Speaking direct may be the best option as just went online for a quote and they're still 'getting quote '

We have buildings with v. low use which you're quote would be ideal for

Hopefully Opus know what they can do with their new prices if “we do nothing”… an extra £4157.35 a year just on standing charge compared to what we’re currently paying!

I've got to stop coming on here it's making me sick. Had a choice of a 1 or two year contract last year, silly me went for a two year 🤦🏼‍♂️.
Paying just over 10p a unit more. It's a big chunk of cash going out each month 😭

If it makes you feel any better, I signed up for a 4yr contract two years ago, not seeing how energy could drop much.
Shocked at the difference with the Octopus contract I signed up to on a different meter recently, but hey ho.

Incidentally, at the time I took out the 4yr contract with Opus, it was confirmed that the contract would be terminated if the business name changed, or if we moved address. Even on our low usage, the difference almost makes changing the business worth it…

anyone got better prices.
Just signed a 3 year single rate with Scottish Power. 65000kw pa. 21.78 ppkw, 208p sc so your deal looks pretty good.
B Gas, who I've been with for years were 25ppkw and 65p sc.
Worked out around £1400/ year saving.
Still painful though as I'm coming to the end of a 13.65 ppkw contract.
Pure luck that I haven't needed to renew during the last 2 years of high prices. There's a feeling that prices could start to trickle up.

Had an email last week off E d f, just letting me know that if I didn't book my smart meter installation this week, my tarif would possibly increase to £2.50 sc and £1.15 and £1.08 pr kWh. .
I've not heard much good, and no signal here either, and I'm quite happy to send my meter readings once a month, so haven't bothered with the barrage of emails and text messages sent to me.
So with another year on this contract, I begrudgingly phoned them. I asked the nice Indian gentleman what happens if there's no signal for the smart meter to send the data. Oh everyone has a signal these days. Wel nope, I'm standing in a wet rainy field to phone you now, because there's no signal in the house. Oh hang on I'll talk with my manager (I'm assuming he either went for a cup of tea or went to look up mobile reception for my area) anyway he came back and said they would install a smart meter and make it dumb.
I asked well how will you get your meter readings, oh you will have to supply them. So isn't it a waste of time and money putting in a smart meter ? No it will be much safer for me having a smart meter installed 🤔🤷‍♂️.I asked how and he went quiet. Anyway, they can't book me in for an install, the computer wouldn't allow him. So there's 40 minutes of my time gone that I won't get back 😡🤬
