I was wondering what enamel paint people found best for spraying their classic tractors, I have used 2 pack before and I don't really have the compressor to work the mask and gun together.

I have some Sparex paint (agricolour) but cannot buy their thinners on line due to couriers not able to transport the thinners. On the Sparex website nor on the paint tin there is no mention of the type of thinners to use, I have also tried to contact Sparex but no reply to my request.Vap paint for the money is very good it gives very good finish with good covering power but it's brittle
Sparex paint is good It's softer once dry but it dosnt shine as well out of the gun like vap does, you have to apply it differently...
Tractol I'm not a fan of
Our supplier does a 1k qd enamel which is very good I was really impressed it drys quite flexible like a poly
We use 2k the most as per customers requests
Polyurethane is quite an oily type substance with poor covering power I find, but once enough coats are applied it is soft and holds a very good shine
A standard thinner or a synthetic typeI have some Sparex paint (agricolour) but cannot buy their thinners on line due to couriers not able to transport the thinners. What type of thinners do I need to use? Someone has said to use 2k thinners would that be suitable?
A standard thinner or a synthetic type
I'd just use a standard thinner but check it's not a yellow as you get more yellow (unrefined) in the cheaper brands
Thank youyou do a top class job when it comes to repainting old machinery,
how do you clean off the rust, say off a bonnet, do you use a small sandblaster
